Easy to use: you can specify which dimensions the system should propose during posting, excluding others.
During the posting of invoices you can make sure that the system applies the default dimension codes previously set in setup (on the entries created by the system itself).

The Advanced Dimensions Management app for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central allows you to set filters on the G/L Account Dimensions...

Enable the flag so that when posting, the system applies the dimension set in the "Dimension Value Code"
Determine the values that will be accepted in the invoice for the different Dimension Codes
Create an invoice and selecting the Code in the setup, the system will propose only the values established previously
